Peter Belmont

Peter Belmont is a local Certified Public Accountant. He spent a majority of his career serving as the Chief Financial Officer for a general contractor in the construction industry. The company was committed to giving back to its community, holding annual service days and sponsoring Christmas for children in safe houses and rehabilitation facilities. This spirit continues in his personal life as Peter and his family participate in numerous charitable and service events. Peter truly believes in the works of the St. Vincent DePaul Mission of Waterbury. He wants all people to feel safe, receive necessary care, be healthy, be treated with respect, and feel they live their lives with dignity. He admires the dedication of the staff that strive to provide these basic needs to those less fortunate. Peter currently works as an outsourced controller to various companies. He is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accounts and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He is a former chairperson of the Mustard Seed Committee of Sacred Heart Church, former board member of the Southbury Middlebury Youth and Family Services organization, and former board member of the Westchester County Association.
